My name is Munibah Masood and I am a senior Business Major at the University of Mary Washington. Here’s a picture of me 🙂

I created this subdomain to distinguish the coursework needed for DGST101 from other classes as well as my main website. In the past I have used WordPress to create blogs for my FSEM course as well as attempt to set up a website for digital marketing. For Digital Marketing we had the option of using our domains to create a website about ourselves or using adobe. Having already had some experience with WordPress I attempted to create a website but found it was too complicated to figure out with no guidance so I gave up. Here is a link to my main website although it is very obviously not complete.
I have other Public digital identities including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram.
LinkedIn quite honestly frightens me because I have major anxiety and fears about going into the workforce post graduation, so I am not active on it at all. My goal for this summer is to be more active on it and to set it up properly so that I can present myself in a professional manner in order to network.
My facebook account was mainly for entering UMW and joining the class page. I have mostly immediate family and a few friends on there. I am not active on facebook. My main use for facebook is for the groups. I have joined many facebook groups such as Fredericksburg foodies and NOVA foodies because I enjoy finding and trying new local spots. I will also occasionally use facebook marketplace.
Twitter (I refuse to call it X) I use for news, whether it be politics, pop culture, or sports. I can always count on twitter to make me laugh. i’m not super active on it, it is more of a spam account.
Snapchat as well, I am no longer super active on. I had actually deleted it for over a year, but recently re downloaded the app as a way to stay in contact with friends who are moving post graduation.

Instagram I am probably the most active on but still I have notifications off for the app as well as a screen time limit for an hour to limit over-usage, because it is so easy for me to get distracted on there. Instagram is probably the most “aesthetic” snapshot of my life. I’m not constantly posting and reposting on my story, maybe once a month if I am doing something fun or if I was mentioned. If you wanted to connect outside of class, Instagram would definitely be the best avenue!
